This page contains information and playlists of the ambient mixes created for NPS radio programs
SUPPLEMENT (between 2000 and 2006) and FOLIO (starting 2007).

After creating a 8 hour radio program on Brian Eno (special guest of the Holland Festival in 1999) with Michael Fahres for the Dutch experimental/avant garde radio show 'Supplement' (NPS/VPRO), I was given the unlikely opportunity to create a non-stop 4 hour ambient collage for the same radio program.
The positive reactions to this first ambient broadcast led to a second collage in 2001, called 'DreamScenes'.
This 'DreamScenes' collage led to the invitation to participate in the Polderlicht project in Amsterdam, 2001.
The Polderlicht recordings were also broadcast in may 2002, with an additional collage.
May 2003 continued the yearly tradition with the fourth broadcast: "Peinzing".
2004 featured the broadcast of "Voorjaarsmoe" (Spring fatigue), a thematic collage subtitled "S.A.D. Sounds".
In 2005 three (quite radical) programs were dedicated to the "Hum in the Room" - the ever-present electrical sound of your environment. Though a bit different in form, the series continued in 2006 with 4 hours thematically related to Iceland (well..two of them at least).

Folio is a dutch radio show of which I am one of the compilers (together with Arno Peeters). The ambient-electronic mix playlists for this program are also shown here. These pages serve as an 'historical overview' for the collages and mixes.
Some listeners recorded the radio shows and asked for the playlist and 'sequence schemes'. That's why I keep them available here.
